Exporting Records ("Send to" Function)

WINE allows you to export search results to your reference management software (such as Refworks and Mendeley) using  "Send to" function. In addition, you can email or print your search results. 

Exporting from Search Results Lists

Email, Permalink and Add to My Favorite are available from icons on the upper right of a result in the results list. For My Favorite function, please refer to the following guide.

Exporting Records in Bulk

On the Brief Results page, you can Select the check box that appears next to each item in the list. After you have selected one or more items, select the ellipsis that appears above the list of results to display the available export actions. Selecting an export action, will apply that action to all selected records.

Page Selection

Select the check box that appears above the entire list to select all items on the page. You can load more results to the page to allow the selection of more records.

Top 50 Selection

Select an item or all items, and then select Choose Top 50 Results to select the first 50 records in the results list.

List of "Send to" functions

Email

Send the record's details, locations, and availability information to a specified email address. To send to email, input your email address and then click SEND. If you are signed in, the Note field will appear, which allows you to include an optional note with the email.

The sender address and subject of the email are as follows, so please set to exclude from spam as necessary.

Create a citation in specified format for the record. To create a citation, specify a citation style in the left pane and then select Copy Citation to Clipboard. Following citation format are available.

  • SIST 02
  • MLA(8th edition)
  • MLA(7th edition)
  • APA(6th edition)
  • Chicago/Turabian (16th edition)

The displayed citations are generated mechanically, so please check the submission guidelines or writing guidelines for your paper carefully before use.

Permalink

Create a permalink for the record. You can copy it and send to another person (for example, with e-mail).

Print

Send the record's details, locations, and availability information to a specified printer.

Excel / CSV

* This feature has been available from August 5, 2020.

Download a record's details and link to an Excel or CSV file. To export the record to a file, choose a file type and then select Download.

RefWorks

Export the record directly to RefWorks which is a reference management software allows you to create your own personal database. Waseda University subscribes RefWorks so that anyone who belong to Waseda is able to use RefWorks.

Mendeley

* This feature has been available from May 7, 2020.

Export the record directly to Mendeley which is a reference management software allows you to create your own personal database. Waseda University subscribes Mendeley Institutional edition so that anyone who belongs to Waseda is able to use richer version of Mendeley.

Easybib

Export the record directly to Easybib which is a free bibliography generator.

EndNote

Export the record directly to EndNote basic which is a reference management software allows you to create your own personal database. Waseda University subscribes Web of Science so that anyone who belongs to Waseda is able to use richer version of EndNote basic than free version.

RIS

Export the record to RIS format, and save it in a file. To export to RIS format, choose a file encoding and then select Download. If you are uncertain which encoding to choose, try "UTF-8" first.

BibTex
