江戸時代後期、1800年から1816年までの17年間にかけ、伊能忠敬がわが国で初めて日本全土を測量し、「伊能図」と呼ばれる詳細な地図を作成しました。本サイト「WEB版デジタル伊能図」は、「デジタル伊能図」(DVD版)を元に、伊能忠敬没後200年を記念してインターネットを介し利用できるようにしたものです。

?伊能図の基本図である大図214枚および「江戸府内図」2枚をGIS(地理情報システム)で完全デジタル化

これらによって、伊能図と国土地理院の標準地図など５種類の地図とを重ねて見ることを可能にしました。さらに、旧地名や現在の地名、宿泊地、日付から地図や測量日記本文を検索することができます。

これらを利用し海岸線や地形、街道と現在の主要道、町村名などの変化を知ることができ、歴史地理学のみならず建築、土木、測量、環境、防災、都市計画など様々な分野に役立つものと考えます。日記と地図を合わせ見て、旅の行程、往時の状況、測量の苦労などを実感することもできます。

In the latter half of the Edo period, during the 17 years from 1800 to 1816, Tadataka Ino surveyed the whole of Japan for the first time in Japan, and created a detailed map called the "Ino Map. This website, "Digital Ino Map on the Web," is based on the "Digital Ino Map" (DVD version), and is made available via the Internet to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Tadataka Ino's death.

? Two hundred and forty-four large maps and two "Edo Prefecture Maps," the basic maps of the Ino Map, have been completely digitized using GIS (Geographic Information System).

? The map shows surveyed roads, coastlines, lodging areas, and all place names (village, county, country, temple and shrine names, castles, natural places, etc.).

The survey diary, which is a national treasure, has been digitized and the transcribed text has been converted to text.

With these features, it is now possible to view Ino maps and five other types of maps, including the standard maps of the Geographical Survey Institute. In addition, it is possible to search for maps and survey diary texts by old and current place names, accommodation locations, and dates.

This is useful not only in historical geography, but also in various fields such as architecture, civil engineering, surveying, environment, disaster prevention, and urban planning. By looking at the diary and the map together, you can get a sense of the journey, the conditions of the past, and the difficulties of surveying.

収録内容 / Contents

「デジタル伊能図」は以下のデータで構成されています。

①伊能大図の測線（海岸線や街道を測量した線）を、地理院地図に合わせてデジタル化（ベクターデータ）。
②伊能大図の宿泊地を、地理院地図を背景にしてデジタル化（ベクターデータ）。
③伊能大図の全地名（村名・郡名・国名・寺社名・城郭・自然地名）を、地理院地図を背景にしてデジタル化。ローマ字付き。
④「測量日記」（書き下し）を宿泊地と時系列にリンク。原典画像と書き下しを全文掲載。
⑤伊能図（大図全214図と江戸府内図2図）（ラスターデータ）。
⑥伊能図を地理院地図に合わせて補正した「補正伊能図」（ラスターデータ）。

"The Digital Ino Map” consists of the following data.

(1) Digitization (vector data) of the geodesic lines (lines of coastlines and roads surveyed) of the Ino-Daisu map according to the Geographical Survey Institute map.
