戦前戦後の商工省・通商産業省による産業政策の実相を記録。これまで非公開扱いであった一次史料を中心に収録。「商工政策史・通商産業政策史関係収集資料」（国立公文書館つくば分館）を中核とする史料群。
Includes primary sources assembled from after World War II through to the 1990s for the compiling of publications by government ministries and agencies involved in trade and industry policy.
