第二次世界大戦後、連合軍総司令部(GHQ)が占領政策の一環としておこなったメディア検閲の結果民間検閲局(CCD)に保管されていた資料である、プランゲ文庫（米国メリーランド大学所蔵）の目次データベース。新聞・雑誌あわせて320万件を超すデータを収録。

20th Century Media Information database is an index of Prange Collection which is a comprehensive archives of published materials from the occupation of Japan following World War II. These materials are the record of the censorship activities of the allied occupation as conducted by the Civil Censorship Detachment (CCD) and were acquired for the University of Maryland with the help of Gordon W. Prange.
